Below is a selection of laptops recommended for each Faculty/Program to ensure successful Ontario Tech University software usage. Clicking on a model will direct you to the vendor's website for purchase, and these laptops include the following features:
- Matte displays: matte reflects less light making it easier to view in reflected lights and from a wider angle.
- Battery: extended batteries can be purchased that allow for longer runtime and can be easily replaced if required.
- Keyboard: improved keyboard provides more feedback on key actuation.
- Pointing device: embedded in the keyboard allows for more efficient typing and is more accurate than the touchpad.
- Webcam: for use in online learning.
